Dynamic Pricing - Raising the Bottom Line
Creating a dynamic pricing plan based on date and demand, how to optimize earning with dynamic (tiered) pricing
Dynamic pricing is a pricing strategy that is used by most big companies, but woefully underutilized for mid-size and smaller event organizers.
So what is Dynamic Pricing?
Dynamic pricing is a pricing strategy where the event organizer starts selling a ticket at a lower price point, and gradually increases the ticket price based on time and/or demand.
The lower starting price helps build interest in the event or ticket, and builds hype around the event. With a few first customers inviting their friends, the circle of attendees slowly increases, and the interest level in the ticket goes up.
Once sales momentum increases, the ticket price should go up too.
eventlint makes it easy to create tiered pricing. You can select how many tickets to sell in each tier, and also set the date a ticket price should increase, regardless.
